The Athletic Intelligence System
Five pillars. One coach.
The court asks for everything at once: a clear head, a body that holds up, recovery that keeps you fresh, and a plan that fits you. I train all of it together, as one system, so what you build off the court shows up in matches.
The modern athlete rarely suffers from a lack of information. The deeper problem is organization.
From The Eight Points of Tennis
Why a system
Most players get their answers in pieces: a hitting coach, a trainer, an app, a video they saw online. Each piece can be right and the player still doesn't improve, because nobody puts them together. They all have to meet inside one person.
As a player I couldn't afford the whole team, so I learned each part myself and built it into how I coach. Athletic Intelligence is that team under one plan: the ability to notice what matters, organize the body, and choose the right response as conditions change.

Assess. Plan. Train. Re-test.
- 01
Assess
A two-hour baseline across your tennis and your fitness, so the plan is built on what we measured instead of what we guessed.
- 02
Plan
Priorities across all five pillars, built around your game style, your schedule and what you want next season.
- 03
Train
On court and in the gym. Every session has a goal: control first, then constraint, then competition.
- 04
Re-test
The same two-hour assessment at the end, so you can see exactly what moved and we can set the next block.

The five pillars
What each one trains.
Mind
Sports psychologyStaying clear under pressure is a skill you can train. We work on where your attention goes during points and between them, so the big moments get your best tennis instead of your tightest.
"The body follows the mind's target, not the mind's commentary."Point 1 · Perception
What we train
- Focus and attention
- Confidence under pressure
- Decision-making in big moments
- Emotional control and routines
- Mental toughness
Body
Strength & conditioningTennis is repeated explosive efforts with short recoveries, for as long as the match lasts. Training is built for that: power, speed and footwork that hold up in the third set, and both sides of the body, not only the hitting side.
"To be fit is to be fit for something."Point 3 · Fuel
What we train
- Strength
- Explosive power
- Speed and agility
- Movement and footwork
- Durability and injury resistance
Recovery
Restore · RebuildProgress is made between sessions. In the 6-Week Program, sleep, fueling, hydration and mobility get planned like training and matched to your schedule and match days. Outside the program, recovery work is booked as a fitness session.
"Fuel is not merely what enters the body; it is what the athlete can convert into readiness."Point 3 · Fuel
What we train
- Sleep
- Nutrition and hydration
- Mobility and flexibility
- Breathing and stress control
- Active recovery
Biology
DNA-based program designAn optional DNA test adds one more layer: how your body tends to respond to power and endurance work, recovery, injury risk and nutrition. It informs the plan. It never replaces what we see on court.
"Every player begins with a different body and history."Point 1 · Perception
What the test looks at
- Power and speed potential
- Strength and muscle response
- Injury risk and tissue resilience
- Recovery and inflammation
- Metabolism, nutrition and sleep
Performance
Test · Analyze · TrackWe measure where you start, record key shots and break them down together, and track progress against your assessment. The numbers and the video make things clear. The decisions on court are still yours.
"Technology is the whetstone that sharpens the weapon, not the hand that wields it."Point 4 · Tool
What we train
- Performance testing
- Shot recording and analysis
- Movement analysis
- Match patterns and strategy
- Progress tracking
